THIS year’s session of EMBALLAGE & MANUTENTION, held jointly at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte, lived up to its promises.
In a tense and competitive economic climate, the number and quality of exhibitors and visitors was a clear demonstration of the excellent stability and good health of these events.
With its gathering of 1,570 individual and business exhibitors, 50% of whom were international, and an attendance of 96,500 professional visitors, 35% of whom were international – from more than 100 countries – the exhibitions affirmed their positioning as the capital place for innovation for the packaging, processing, printing and handling sectors.
Véronique Sestrieres, EMBALLAGE & MANUTENTION Exhibition Director, said, “The exhibition indicators are positive and encouraging. Synergies generated by EMBALLAGE & MANUTENTION – with its complementary offering: packaging, processing, printing and handling – benefit the industry overall.
“As a quality showcase, these exhibitions enabled exhibitors, with their increasingly stylish and educational booths, to attract the attention of customers and prospects and to highlight their latest innovations. Business was the order of the day in 2014, marked by the quality of sales leads and commercial transactions and the presence of major buyers, primarily from the EMEA region. EMBALLAGE and MANUTENTION have strengthened their positioning as benchmark events.”
