Having recently secured agency agreements to represent Matrix Srl – Bottling Technology and All Glass Srl, which manufactures air conveyors, palletisers (pictured) and depalletisers in both conventional formats and robots, Makro Labelling UK is now able to supply complete lines in the UK for the wine, spirit, water, soft drinks, beer and cider markets.
Makro will continue to offer the Aetna range of shrinkwrappers, carton packers and pallet stretchwrappers as their preferred supplier for the complete end of line. Richard Portman, MD of Makro Labelling commented on the new agency agreements: “For some months now we have been researching all the available equipment on the market capable of interfacing with the range of Makro Labelling machines and the timing of this announcement coincides with the new appointments to the Makro UK team in recent months. I intend to add further to our service capability in the coming weeks, as this part of our business has been doubling year on year since we established Makro in the UK four years ago.” He continued: ”Matrix is very similar to Makro, it was established in 2004 in Gattatico in Reggio Emilia and supplies a complete range of rinsers, fillers, cappers, carbonators and warmer/coolers with bottle and pack conveyors. The heart of the line, the filler blocs, includes both hot fill and ambient filling for non-carbonated beverages for glass and PET bottling lines and Matrix also offers its electro-pneumatic filling valve technology for carbonated waters, CSDs, beers and RTD products.” All Glass Srl is an industry leader for conveying systems and de-palletising and re-palletising machinery for the glass manufacturing industry.
