Signode has launched the SBM Series, a new generation of European-built strapping machines that is said to offer customers higher productivity, simple operation and low cost of ownership. Based on well-proven technology, and with a wide range of machine options, the SBM Series can be tailored to suit almost any packing application, from stand-alone, operator controlled machines to fully automated production line installations. The range comprises two main models. The SBM 2000 model is designed for use with a 5-mm Dylastic® Polypropylene strap and offers a fast, reliable and economical solution for lighter general purpose packaging applications. The SBM 4000 range uses a 9/12-mm Dylastic® strap and is ideal for medium to heavy duty tasks. All SBM machines deliver the same consistent strap tension and sealing – guaranteeing pack security.
