Tri-Star Packaging’s unique Deli Pot Topper has won Gold at the ScotHot 2013 New Product Awards – the second time the food-to-go concept has scooped a major gong. Tying in with the ScotHot 2013 trade show, held in Glasgow in March, the ScotHot New Product Awards recognise innovative products launched into the Scottish foodservice and hospitality sector in the past year. Tri-Star’s Deli Pot Topper was shortlisted alongside 10 other products and was presented with a Gold Award after a rigorous judging process. The Deli Pot Topper is designed so that the pot can be filled with the main ingredient, while the lid – or topper – is filled with a further ingredient to be added when the customer is ready to eat the product. The topper is manufactured so that it can fit neatly on to five different sizes of pot in the Deli Pot Topper range, from 230ml to 470ml, enabling complete flexibility and portion control.
