CGS Publishing Technologies has announced the official UK launch of its ORIS Flex Pack and Web contract proofing solution. The new bundled package, which has been developed as a highly cost-effective, on-demand alternative to slow and expensive legacy systems for packaging proofing, was showcased at the Packaging Innovations show in London. The full package includes the ORIS Flex Pack/Web software and the Roland VersaCAMM VS-series wide format printer/cutters, an ORIS heating unit plus a full range of proofing media and the ability to connect to the Esko Color Engine spot colour database. The solution will be sold in the UK via Revolution (www.flex-pack.co.uk). The firm’s Heiner Mueller said: “It is a true turnkey solution and will provide design agencies, repro houses and in-house packaging departments with huge savings in consumable costs and production time without any compromise on the quality or the consistency of the packaging proof.”
