GRAHAM Packaging has congratulated Life Technologies on the 50th anniversary of its Gibco cell culture media brand for researchers and the biopharmaceutical industry. The most popular Gibco media products include DMEM, for the growth of a spectrum of mammalian cell lines, RPMI Media 1640, enriched media with extensive applications for mammalian cells and MEM, patterned after Eagle’s media, well suited for mammalian cells. Graham has worked very closely with Life Technologies to create a design delivering a brand new concept for the Gibco brand and the cell culture market. This resulted in a unique five-sided PET bottles produced in 100ml, 500ml, and 1000ml sizes. The bottles are manufactured in a class 1000 Clean Room at Graham’s Chalgrove facility in the UK.
