A leading producer of personal and home care products has recently installed its third Euroflex Tube Press for printing tube barrier laminates. With the presses installed at different locations, the printed laminates are formed into tubes for an extensive range of oral care products. All three presses are fully-automatic for non-stop production. Operating 24 hours per day, reliability and consistently met production standards, such as minimal down-time and waste are key factors. Both 260mm and 400mm Euroflex presses have been installed. The former is specified with 6-UV flexo colours on a steel chilled 1000mm dia central impression drum, plus varnish and rotary screen.
