When Swedish company Meda OTC was looking for a new bottle design, it turned to Graham Packaging Europe, to assist in the launch of two new mouthwash products. Graham Packaging worked closely with distributors in Sweden, to supply a lightweight 500ml gloss white, PET bottle, weighing only 30.5 grams. With the distinctive label dress, the firm is confident the bottles of NaF Fruit Mint for kids and NaF Fresh Mint for adults provide a pack that will not only stand out on retail shelves but at the same time look good on the bathroom shelf. Completing the look is the closure, which doubles as a measuring device. Meanwhile, Graham has increased production capacity at its Etten-Leur facility with the installation of a new blowmoulder. The new machine also complies with the strict BRC-IoP certified conditions, which covers both production and storage within the plant. “Should the requirements of our new customers increase even more then we have room on site to increase production still further,” said plant manager Roeland Marijnissen.
