The installation of the first three Makro Labellers at H&A Prestige Packaging and also at the parent company Halewood International, has led to a further order for a Makro Mak 3 due to the success of the earlier installations. Makro Labelling has only been producing labellers for three years now and sales have been growing year on year, according to managing director Richard Portman, who added: “This latest order for a Mak 3 machine is a more sophisticated unit to the one we sold to H&A last year, it will be running on line 8 and operate at 200 bpm. This three-station machine will apply body, back and neck labels to standard wine and spirit bottles as well as some book shape and oval flask type bottles.”
