A specialist supermarket food supplier has developed a recipe for making money from waste after joining forces with Greenbank waste handling and equipment company. Deli Solutions, based in Clitheroe, now has an impressive new revenue stream that has generated over £57,000 in 10 months after an overhaul of its recycling practices by the waste management and recycling specialists. The Lancashire company, which prepares imported olives and supplies supermarket delicatessen counters, has installed a customised machine that lifts the bins and crushes the 5 kilo tins the produce arrives in.
