Whimsical Watering Can innovation wins tenth major packaging award

HUNTER Luxury’s Hendrick’s Whimsical Watering Can innovation has claimed a remarkable tenth major packaging industry award win.

The product has won the PLD – Value Added Packaging accolade at the Paris Packaging Week Innovation Awards.

Developed in collaboration with brand owner William Grant & Sons and based on a concept by Boundless Brand Design, the Whimsical Watering Can is a luxury travel retail gift set that doubles as a fully functional metal watering can.

The PLD accolade marks the project’s tenth packaging win, contributing to a total of 14 major honours across both packaging and design categories. This latest recognition follows nine previous packaging industry award wins on top of four successes in the design sector, earning three Gold Awards and one Silver at the World Brand Design Society Awards.

The Whimsical Watering Can is made from galvanised and stainless steel elements to ensure a watertight seal and compliance with food safety standards. It can function as a watering can, cocktail decanter, or a display piece to house flowers or bartending tools.
