Endoline unveils next-generation random sealer

Endoline fully automatic random case sealer

ENDOLINE Automation will launch the re-engineered 7048 fully automatic random case sealer at Interpack 2026.

The firm explained that the latest evolution of one of its best-selling end-of-line systems has been redesigned to meet the demands of modern manufacturing, delivering ‘improved energy efficiency, faster build times and enhanced usability’.

Originally introduced almost two decades ago as the 704 before being developed into the 7048, the system has been adopted across a range of production environments.

Endoline said a central focus of the latest design update has been to reflect the realities of today’s automated facilities. Cable requirements within the 7048 have been ‘significantly’ reduced, improving reliability and simplifying maintenance. New sliding access doors have also reduced the overall footprint of the system to less than one metre wide, addressing reductions in available factory floor space as automation continues to expand.

Health and safety compliance has also been strengthened through improved machine access and an intuitive HMI interface.

Designed for production lines that demand flexibility, the 7048 automatically seals cases in random sequence without manual intervention. The system detects the height and width of each incoming box in real time, adjusting instantly to accommodate varying case sizes, eliminating the need for pre-sorting and streamlining high-volume dispatch operations.

Endoline added that the four-column construction provides stability during rapid height adjustments, supporting consistent sealing at speeds of up to 14 cases per minute.

Also on display at Interpack will be the Endoline 227 fully automatic case erector, which is capable of running at up to 22 cases per minute.
