Aluminium packaging solution for cosmetics
Aluminium packaging was used for Puralpina’s 100% Natural Deo Crème range

ROBERTS Metal Packaging will highlight its capabilities in decorative finishes and functional design in aluminium packaging at Packaging Innovations & Empack 2026 next week in Birmingham.

The firm will present a selection of aluminium jars, caps and closures designed for sectors including personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food and household goods. A key feature will be the shortlisted Metal Pack of the Year: Decorative & General Line for the UK Packaging Awards 2025, which recognised Roberts’ collaboration with natural cosmetics brand Puralpina. The company provided an aluminium packaging solution combining sustainability and contemporary design for Puralpina’s 100% Natural Deo Crème range.

“By showcasing our industry-recognised collaboration with Puralpina we’ll be giving visitors the opportunity to see first-hand how design excellence, material innovation and sustainability can be integrated into commercially-scalable metal packaging,” said sales and marketing manager Kirsty Taylor.

The Puralpina packs include full-size 50ml jars and 15ml travel versions, manufactured in Roberts’ London facility using automated press lines. The solution is designed with ‘smooth’ radii, light knurling on the lids for improved grip, and EPE liners for ‘enhanced’ seal integrity.

“With increasing consumer and regulatory focus on recycling and material responsibility, our aluminium solutions enable brands to meet environmental goals while maintaining premium aesthetics and functionality,” Kirsty added. “We’ll be using our attendance to highlight how aluminium is a truly circular material, infinitely recyclable without loss of quality.”
