JAMES Cropper is celebrating after two of the firm’s team members were announced as finalists in the Future Trailblazer Awards 2026.
The manufacturer revealed that Jordan Scott and Genevieve Scullion will be among the finalists celebrated at Packaging Innovations & Empack on 11 February at the NEC Birmingham. The awards celebrate top young talent in the packaging industry.
Jordan Scott, head of marketing, has been shortlisted in the Brand Visionary category. Since joining James Cropper in 2021, Jordan has helped to transform how the company communicates its heritage and innovation. Her work includes leading the Coloursource brand launch and managing high-profile partnerships such as ‘Message in a Wrap’ with paper artist Nathan Ward, blending storytelling with strategic marketing to champion sustainable packaging solutions.
Genevieve Scullion, senior technical specialist, is a finalist in the Operational Excellence category. Joining James Cropper in January 2025, Genevieve was promoted within eight months after establishing herself across technical, operational, and product development projects. James Cropper said her hands-on approach, from troubleshooting machinery to supporting the new Coloursource range launch, demonstrates her ability to combine technical expertise with collaborative problem-solving.

Paul Barber, MD at James Cropper Paper & Packaging, said, “We’re immensely proud of Jordan and Genevieve. Their creativity, resilience, and collaborative spirit embody everything we value at James Cropper, and their respective shortlistings are a fantastic reflection of that.
“Innovation has driven this company since 1845, and seeing the next generation continually push boundaries in sustainability, design, and operational excellence reminds us why nurturing talent matters. These awards recognise individuals who are shaping the future of packaging, and we’re honoured both are part of our team.”
The Future Trailblazer initiative, launched in 2024 in partnership with The Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3), celebrates rising stars in their first decade within the packaging sector. The class of 2026 will be revealed at the Circular Economy Stage at 1pm on 11 February.
