COVERIS Group has unveiled its plans for the upcoming Packaging Innovations event in Birmingham.
The firm’s recyclable flow wrap solution, MonoFlexP PaperFeel, will be on display. Replacing a triple laminate structure, MonoFlexP PaperFeel is said to combine mono-material recyclability with a ‘tactile, paper-like’ finish, whilst maintaining product integrity and shelf-life. The solution was named Flexible Plastic Pack of the Year at both the 2025 UK Packaging Awards and Environmental Packaging Awards.
Also being showcased will be MonoFlex Thermoform PaperFeel, winner of the Best New Concept Award at the UK Packaging Awards. Developed as a replacement for traditional mixed laminated materials, Coveris said the solution demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver ‘technically robust, mono-material alternatives that support circularity without compromising performance’.
Visitors will also be able to explore Coveris’ network of labelling capabilities, with a showcase from Amberley Labels featuring a selection of designs. Highlights include the Aureus Vita Gin label, which was named Label of the Year at the UK Packaging Awards 2025.
Coveris’ FibreFresh HeatSeal punnet will be at the show in addition to its core produce range covering cartonboard, label and flexible film formats.
With Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) continuing to shape the agenda, Coveris’ team will be available to advise on the latest guidelines. By reviewing individual packaging needs and assessing EPR impact, Coveris said it can help visitors make informed choices to minimise environmental impact and reduce financial liabilities.
