AM Labels will be exhibiting the latest addition to its portfolio – the M2 thermal inkjet printer – at Packaging Innovations & Empack 2026.
Visitors to the event, which takes place at the Birmingham NEC from February 11-12, will have the opportunity to get hands on with the M2, which AM Labels said integrates directly into production lines to deliver accurate variable data at speed. Whether printing best before expiry dates, date codes, QR codes, or barcodes, the M2 thermal inkjet printer applies them at print speeds of up to 100 metres per minute.
Also on display will be the Afinia X350 digital roll-to-roll press. This is designed for labels and flexible packaging and is said to benefit from a powerful performance with a small footprint, meaning it can fit into production areas with limited space. Thanks to its 350mm print width, eight litre CMYK ink capacity with two litres per colour channel, and print speeds of up to 29 inches per second, the X350 is described as ‘ideal’ for high volume production requirements.
AM Labels will be demonstrating the Epson ColorWorks C8000 industrial colour label printer, which is compatible with a variety of materials, including matte and gloss paper, and synthetic label materials.
The stand will also feature the OKI Pro1050 five-colour digital label printer, which offers the added benefit of printing in white, enabling greater design flexibility.
In addition to colour label printers, AM Labels will be exhibiting automation equipment, explaining to visitors how the solutions can improve productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
AM Labels will be demonstrating the LabelPack Panda print and apply system. Designed to be integrated with thermal transfer print engines from various manufacturers including SATO, Zebra and TSC, the Panda print and apply solution utilises a motorised liner re-winder and features an anti-rotating linear applicator with a 300mm stroke as standard. The system is aimed at companies printing variable batches or those that require different labels to be attached to each product, such as in distribution or logistics sectors where businesses are printing and applying shipping labels.
Brendon Bass, sales and marketing manager, AM Labels, said, “We’re excited to showcase our varied labelling solutions at this year’s Packaging Innovations & Empack exhibition. The exhibition is the perfect venue for us to connect with existing and potential customers from a range of different industries. Additionally, the exhibition is a great way to open an already exciting year as we celebrate our 30th anniversary throughout 2026.”
