Sabert launches updated version of its Deli2Go range

Food packaging range from Sabert

SABERT Corporation Europe has announced the launch of a new version of its compact Deli2Go range.

Described as ‘perfect’ for chilled foods and side dishes, the patented base uses the same lid-clipping technology as Sabert’s Tray2Go range, delivering secure closure with the new rPET lid, which offers more transparency for enhanced visibility and presentation.

“This improved version of Deli2Go delivers on our commitment to continuous improvement, combining practical design with a new base that enables a secure clipping lid system that helped our Tray2Go range earn a prestigious National Gold Award in the Paper & Packaging Innovation category at the Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice,” said Alex Noake, senior VP & MD for Sabert Europe.

The stackable and nestable bases are grease-resistant and made from FSC-certified recyclable kraft paper. Available in three sizes (125ml, 250ml, and 375ml), they are also fully printable, offering customers versatile usage options and branding opportunities.

Made in Europe, Sabert explained that both the tray and the lid are fully recyclable. The board bases are made in Sabert’s facility in Kimbolton in the UK, while the lid is manufactured at Sabert’s facility in Nivelles, Belgium.

“We have over 40 years’ experience in providing innovative, value-added products to the highest quality standards, supported by outstanding customer service,” Alex Noake added. “Our mission is to offer our clients the best guarantees in terms of quality, safety and service, so you could say Sabert is the ‘go to’ for all a foodservice operator’s sustainable 2Go foodservice packaging solutions.”
