OMRON Industrial Automation Europe has announced the appointment of Marc Ioannidis as general manager UK & Ireland, succeeding Sam Tilley who has become general manager Nordic countries.
In his new role, Marc will report to Vince King, sales director north and emerging region, and is responsible for leading OMRON’s UK & Ireland operations.
With more than 25 years of experience in the automation sector, Marc joined OMRON in 2008 and has held a series of senior sales and channel management roles, most recently serving as general sales manager for the UK & Ireland.
He said, “I’m honoured to take on this role and lead such a dedicated team. The UK and Ireland remain dynamic and innovative markets for industrial automation, and I’m looking forward to building on our strong foundations to deliver further success for our customers and partners.”
