AMCOR has announced that the ‘user-friendly and lightweighted’ design of its Sava Flip Top closure are the key reasons for being chosen by Polish ketchup brand, Kotlin.
Produced by Maspex, Kotlin is described as a ‘modern brand with a rich tradition’, with its premium image requiring to be reflected in its packaging.
The Sava closure is lighter than the previous generation but described as still retaining its reliability and durability for long-term usage. From the choice of valves available, Maspex has selected the TPE valve because it is more widely recyclable than traditional silicone valves, as well as ensuring no spill, non-drip dispensing, and directional control.
“We are delighted with our new closure,” said Sylwia Bębenek, buyer at Maspex. “It is much lighter than alternative versions currently available without compromising on performance. The technical team at Amcor worked closely with us to ensure that it was compatible with our bottles and could run efficiently on the existing filling line.”
The Sava closure is a 55mm Flip Top cap with 38/400 neck finish and part of Amcor’s B Circular Range. It is available with a choice of orifices, valves, and in different colours. Amcor can also supply complementary bottles for a complete pack.
“The versatility and convenience of our Sava closure makes it the ideal solution for all types of ketchups and sauces,” added Bartosz Głodowski, Amcor’s regional sales leader, Poland. “Its ease of use and dispensing are particularly suitable for a premium brand like Kotlin, which is focused on maximising the consumer experience.”
