THE Sheet Plant Association (SPA) has announced that Shotton Mill will sponsor its upcoming conference, which will bring together key stakeholders from across the UK corrugated packaging industry.
Located in Deeside, SPA said Shotton Mill is set to be recognised as one of the UK’s leading producers of high-quality, sustainable paper products, and will play a ‘pivotal’ role in supporting the packaging supply chain nationwide.
In addition to the sponsorship, Shotton Mill will host a VIP site tour for a number of SPA members the day after the conference, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the production facilities, which are due for completion at the end of the year.
Earlier this month, SPA chairman and members of the SPA team visited Shotton Mill to finalise details for the tour and strengthen ties with the company’s leadership team.
