YORKSHIRE Packaging Systems (YPS) has expressed its delighted after winning the Outstanding Customer Service accolade at the recent Automate UK Awards.
The award was designed to recognise a company that could demonstrate a customer service strategy that delivered customer satisfaction, retention and growth.
“Customer service is at the heart of our business so to be recognised as outstanding is hugely important to us,” said MD Glyn Johnson. “We last entered and won this award 10 years ago, but the team have continued to focus on this area and to keep improving ever since, so we believe our service is now even better than it was then.”
YPS has tripled its turnover in the last decade. The company also boasts that 50% of its machinery sales come from existing customers, including some that have been customers for over 30 years!
“We’re very grateful to Automate UK and to their panel of judges for this accolade,” Glyn added. “We also owe a huge debt of thanks to our customers and their support of us, which has enabled us to keep growing. We’re determined to keep our focus on making sure our customers are supported in every aspect of their automated packaging operation.”
