Berlin Packaging expands into Japan with latest acquisition

BERLIN Packaging has completed the acquisition of Nissho Jitsugyo Co., Ltd., a supplier of packaging products and services across Japan.

Founded in 1965 in Osaka, Nissho offers a portfolio of packaging solutions to customers in local food and beverage, beauty, personal care, and healthcare markets. The firm serves thousands of customers from multiple locations across eastern, western, and southern Japan.

Nissho’s suite of solutions features an array of glass and plastic packaging products. Nissho also offers value-added services such as design and new product development, sourcing and procurement, warehousing, filling and assembly, and logistics management capabilities.

Berlin revealed that all employees, management, and locations for this acquisition will be retained.
