AVANTI Conveyors has announced it has reached an agreement to implement Duro Felguera’s automated vertical storage systems in the UK and Ireland.
Co-operation is also extended into Scandinavia and other English speaking territories. The range includes high bay vertical storage and automated stack and retrieve features covering work in progress and finished goods areas.
Founded 160 years ago and based in the Asturias principality of Spain, Duro Felguera has experience of designing, installing and maintaining projects in the industrial, energy, petrochemical and oil and gas sectors around the world.
The firm’s automated warehouse management system is said to offer more control over logistical storage through features like voice-activated picking and RF identification, while the high bay storage increases capacity through vertical storage systems.
