METTLER-Toledo Product Inspection has confirmed the launch of a new software update for its M30 R-Series metal detection systems.
The manufacturer said the move is designed to offer ‘practical improvements’ that can help boost productivity and make compliance easier. The SENSE software is said to offer increased metal detection security and addresses ‘multiple’ food safety regulations and standards facing manufacturers.
“This next level in SENSE is a huge leap in the metal detection field,” said Rob Stevens, metal detection systems product inspection specialist at Mettler-Toledo. “By automating the processes further, we can now offer our customers a game-changing way to future-proof their production lines, resulting in less room for human error and more consistent productivity and efficiency.
“The digitalisation of data reporting and storing also offers manufacturers the chance to improve their green credentials at a time when increased sustainability is so fundamental. We are looking forward to sharing this new technology with our customers and prospects at Interpack in May.”
Where the upgraded SENSE metal detector software ‘really stands out’, the company added, is in the future-proof benefits. The software enables the M30 R-Series system to automatically integrate with ProdX data management software.
Existing Mettler-Toledo M30 R-Series metal detectors can be updated with the new version of SENSE to gain access to the new features. All new units purchased will automatically have the latest SENSE software.
