PRINT finishing equipment manufacturer A B Graphic International (ABG) has hailed the success of the firm’s recent open-house event at its facility in Girona, Spain.
The site, used by Enprom Solutions, jointly acquired by ABG and Kocher+Beck in July 2019, manufactures ABG’s winding machines, converting lines, sleeve machines, and automated customised products.
As this was the first opportunity ABG has had to officially welcome the Girona site to the family – mainly due to Covid-19 restrictions – the event was mainly attended by Spanish customers seeking to improve efficiencies and productivity.
The two-day event included a mix of presentations and demonstrations. ABG said that of particular interest was the non-stop winder range.
Richard Knight, ABG’s CEO, said, “It’s great to welcome visitors to our impressive facility here in Girona and to be able to finally demonstrate our non-stop technology. At ABG our customers drive our innovation, so to be back in front of them showcasing our latest machinery, such as our non-stop winder butt splicing range, is a fantastic and most welcomed opportunity.”
