SORBAFREEZE, the chilled packaging division of Pitreavie Packaging Group, has created an insulated packaging solution described as being 100% kerbside recyclable.
Chilltek Ecotek is a box with chill chambers made from 100% corrugate. Ecotek is flatpack delivered and BRCGS-accredited.
The product builds on the success of Sorbafreee’s Chilltek Fastfill insulated box, which was born from customer need and quickly became the company’s best selling product, keeping temperature-sensitive goods safe for up to 48 hours.
Michelle Ottolini, Sorbafreeze business unit manager, said, “I’m thrilled to release the Ecotek box – an innovation that’s been in the works for months but couldn’t be released until it was absolutely perfect, both in terms of environmental sustainability and ability to function as an effective insulated packaging solution.
