THE Label Makers has announced the appointment of Dan Wilson as business development manager.
The manufacturer revealed his role is intended to strengthen the sales team and extend the company’s presence in the Midlands and southern England.
Dan Wilson’s career spans 25 years, the majority of which has been spent in the drinks industry working for a range of brand owners, start-up distilleries, UK retailers and contract bottlers. The Label Makers said he brings a great deal of sales and commercial experience to the role.
His position will require him to represent the business externally, maintaining and developing customer accounts. He will also be responsible for liaising with both new and existing customers from an initial enquiry through to product development and site visits.
“I have known and worked with The Label Makers for a number of years across mutual customers and always respected their knowledge, production results and levels of service,” he said. “A business that has an accolade of awards, with a great team of people who always put the needs of the customer first.
“I’m really looking forward to continuing to work within the BWS sector and further developing my expertise in the key markets of toiletries, health supplements, food, household and industrial, decorative coatings and personal care. I’m enjoying the diversity and creativity of producing labels, irrespective of the product category, and bringing them ‘to life’ through the application of embellishments and tactile finishes.”
The Label Makers’ Ben Robinson added, “We are delighted to have Dan on board. As well as making an important contribution to our business growth plans, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will be of great benefit to the business and our customers.”
