THE Scottish national rugby side is to wear kits made from recycled plastic bottles in its upcoming 2021/22 campaign.
Both the home and away jersey and shorts are made from Eco Armevo, which is a 100% polyester fabric manufactured from recycled plastic bottles.
Made by sportswear firm Macron, the new kits are set to be seen for the first time in the Autumn Nations Series, which Scotland’s kicks off in on October 30.
Scottish Rugby added that Scotland Women will debut the kit later on in the year, with it also set to feature across all age groups of the national team.
