IPL Plastics has announced a new five litre rectangular ‘Napoli-style’ container for the UK ice cream market.
The firm already produces one, two and four litre tubs, and said it has now invested in a new tool to produce the five litre offering, which is available in natural, black, silver and white.
Jamie Clark, director of retail sales at IPL Plastics Europe said, “Our new five litre ‘Napoli’ container is a welcome addition to our existing ice cream range, completing our frozen dairy line up. Whilst our standard range is all IML-capable, the Napoli is offered in four standard colours without IML, and other colours would of course be available on request. Our dedicated team has developed these containers with ease of use for Ice cream producers in mind, ensuring they can be blast chilled after filling without panelling and with easy to apply snap on lids.
