AUTOMATED Packaging Systems has announced an expansion of its team to help meet demand for its AirPouch protective packaging range.
The new team comprises specialists including a team leader for void fill and protective packaging solutions, a sales executive who advises customers on how to best pack their parcels for a cost-effective solution, a road-based engineer to carry out routine maintenance, and two support specialists to offer advice and answer order enquiries.
The AirPouch range provides alternatives to traditional loose-fill chips, foam, paper and bubble wrap. Automated Packaging Systems claims businesses can save warehouse space as the products are inflated on demand. The range also offers a lightweight void-fill option.
Stuart Fish, AirPouch team leader said, “Online trade companies are coming under increasing pressure to offer a quick turnaround to meet expectations such as next-day delivery while ensuring products are supplied in good working condition.
“As a result, it is important that companies have access to protective packaging solutions that efficiently meet their needs. Our AirPouch range provides customers with a wide range of benefits and, looking ahead, we will continue to analyse the market to ensure we invest in the most appropriate areas of the business to enable us to meet ever-changing customer requirements long into the future.”
