BEATSON Clark’s black spray coating decoration technique wowed visitors at this year’s SIBA BeerX event in Liverpool.
The two-day exhibition is a dedicated trade show featuring firms that supply to the beer industry. Suppliers get the chance to market their products and services to hundreds of brewers and industry representatives.
Beatson Clark supplies standard, customised and bespoke beer bottles for breweries in the UK and overseas. The manufacturer chose to showcase its latest offerings and talk to customers about services such as embossing decoration, lightweighting bottles and low-volume production runs.
Beatson Clark said visitors to their stand were impressed by the range of shapes, sizes and decorative features on display.
The decoration technique which attracted most interest was the matt or gloss black spray coating, which Beatson Clark explained can “completely transform” the look and feel of a bottle.
“We exhibit at BeerX every year now as it’s always a great way to meet up with existing customers and potential new ones, and this year’s event was no different,” said marketing manager Charlotte Taylor. “We offer our customers a range of decorative options, including high-quality creative embossing – but the star of the show this year was the black spray coating.
“We already provide black spray coating to a number of customers, including Hendrick’s gin, and judging by the response we had on our stand we’re expecting to be doing a lot more of this type of decoration in future!”
