FALKIRK-based inflatable and reusable protective packaging specialist BUBL Bag has announced the business will now trade under the name BUBL Packaging to reflect the “rapidly expanding” number of products offered.
The firm said the move follows “strong sales growth” in the past year of the original BUBL Bags. BUBL Packaging has invested in product development and launched two new product lines after the recent win of EDGE Award funding.
BUBL Packaging’s products replace cardboard boxes, padded envelopes, void fill and bubble wrap. The products are said to inflate to provide a secure, air–filled pocket that offers “maximum protection” for valuable or fragile goods.
The two new product lines that have been added are air-filled BUBLPods, which provide extra protection for high-value products, and BUBLCases, which are used for transporting valuable technical and audio-visual equipment.
The company has also created BUBL Tec to utilise the technology behind the packaging system.
BUBL Packaging managing director Ross Woodburn said, “The rebranding makes it very clear that we are in the business of packaging, and the new product lines extend our offer to address a much wider range of product categories.”
