EIGHT new boxes with elaborate finishing have been produced by rlc | packaging group for the Swiss chocolate brand Cailler.
The boxes are designed with up to 14 UV printing inks using underprinting and overprinting and feature various types of finishing, including hot-foil printing in glossy gold or embossing.
Part of the Nestlé portfolio, the Cailler brand dates back nearly 200 years.
Klaus Volgmann, European key account manager for confectionery at rlc, said, “As engineering partner, we worked in close cooperation with Nestlé for about six months. We conducted multiple trials with different materials to come up with the best, truly unique solution.The packaging itself, as well as the choice of finishing, ensure a level of quality that is not adversely affected during the packing process or shipping.”
