DESCRIBED as a move to further drive forward innovation and productivity, Loma Systems has opened a Technical Centre of Excellence in Manchester.
Loma said the centre is at the forefront of the firm’s drive to develop high performance inspection technology for major food manufacturers, processors and packers.
The centre brings key functions under one roof including sales, service, engineering and R&D. It is also host to a demonstration area which will allow Loma to provide training and product testing.
The new technical centre is headed up by Loma Systems’ technical director, Hitesh Hirani, who said, “Developing advanced inspection technologies that adhere to the legislative requirements of the worldwide food industry and meet BRC and retailer standards is at the core of our business.”
