AM Labels has announced the addition of the Afinia X350 digital roll-to-roll label press and the D.P.R SrL Taurus laser label finisher to its portfolio.
The equipment is designed to work together to create a ‘seamless and efficient’ cutting and finishing label production.
The Afinia X350 boasts a 21-inch touchscreen interface, with cloud-based RIP software. AM Labels described it as ‘ideal’ for complex label designs. The solution offers a print speed of up to 45 metres per minute, while the roll width of 350mm and ‘user-friendly’ interface provides flexibility for a variety of applications.
The D.P.R SrL Taurus label laser finisher complements the Afinia X350. It offers unwinding, laminating, label cutting, rewinding and slitting in a single pass at speeds of up to 70 metres per minute. The solution uses a sealed CO2 laser source to finish printed labels, with AM Labels explaining that the quality and precision of the label edges, with the multiple laser processes, enables greater flexibility in design as it can kiss-cut and perforate.
