WOMEN working in packaging will be celebrated at London Packaging Week 2026, with a dedicated networking event where female leadership and empowerment are reinforced.
The Women in Packaging Breakfast takes place on the morning of 17 September and brings together women making a difference across the industry.
Hosted by event organiser Easyfairs and publication Packaging News, the gathering builds on the Women in Packaging Excellence Awards. The networking breakfast is followed by The Power Hour, an invite-only leadership session where discussions will cover leadership, allyship, innovation, sustainability, and meaningful organisational change.
Karen Graley, UK Packaging Pro COO and winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Women in Packaging Excellence Awards 2026, will be interviewed by Margaret Bates, as they explore the opportunities and challenges that shape success, from navigating change and driving innovation to building strong relationships and inspiring others.
A panel including voices from Aura Global, Asda, and Tesco, will share their experiences of turning ideas into lasting progress within packaging organisations. This session explores how leaders and allies can foster more inclusive cultures, embed sustainability into everyday decision-making, develop diverse talent and create the conditions for innovation to thrive.
Sema Tezel Basbug, head of marketing, UK packaging portfolio at Easyfairs and recipient of the Packaging Marketing & Brand Impact Award at this year’s Women in Packaging Excellence Awards, said, “There is increased recognition of and growing visibility of the women who are driving the future of the packaging industry. To continue this and strengthen female leadership across the packaging value chain, it is important that women in the industry have the opportunity to come together, connect, and inspire each other.
“As the must-attend event for the packaging industry, we are delighted to be able host the Women in Packaging Breakfast and give female leaders a time and a place to network and strengthen their commitment and resolve.”
This session is by invite only. Please contact casey.mchugh@easyfairs.com to get more information about this session and to reserve your spot.
