GLASS packaging manufacturer Croxsons has recruited a sixth-generation member of the family-owned business.
Joel Croxson, whose great-great-great grandfather William founded the business in 1872, has been appointed content & media coordinator. He will focus on developing the company’s social media presence as well as contributing to its customer newsletters, photographic history archive, and product photo library.
“It’s certainly a great privilege to work for the same company that my great-great-great grandfather started 154 years ago,” said Joel, who studied photography at A-level. “I’m looking forward to bringing a different eye to things through my camera while acknowledging the substantial and significant heritage of this long-established business.”
Josh Webster, head of brand at Croxsons, added, “It’s an exciting moment to have the sixth generation of the Croxson family joining the team and it’s fantastic to continue the heritage now with three generations working for the company at the same time. I’m looking forward to supporting Joel in his development as he brings new ideas and an eye for photography to the marketing and events team.”
