FENTON Packaging Solutions has been awarded a Gold medal for sustainability by EcoVadis, just 12 months after achieving a Bronze rating.

The award puts Fenton in the top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the past year and highlights the firm’s commitment to embedding sustainability principles into every aspect of its operations.

It confirms that Fenton has demonstrated an advanced sustainability management system that covers four main themes: Environment; Labour and Human Rights; Ethics; and Sustainable Procurement.

Fenton managing partner Chris Warren commented, “At Fenton Packaging Solutions, our highly experienced expert team, coupled with the most established and reliable suppliers, are proud to share our passion for innovative sustainable packaging solutions. We deliver a consultative approach and, through innovation, we actively steer our customers towards using the most sustainable packaging options for their businesses. At the same time, we stay one step ahead by constantly seeking out – and working with our suppliers to develop – new and innovative ethically-sourced sustainable packaging solutions.”

Fenton delivers a range of packaging solutions which are described as recyclable, lightweight, and made from ethically-sourced sustainable materials. The company said its metal packaging can be ‘infinitely’ recycled and much of its lightweight plastic packaging contains high percentages of post-consumer recyclate, while the company’s recyclable bag-in-box solutions are a viable replacement for 20-litre rigid plastic jerrycans.

“The EcoVadis process has enabled us to look more closely at how we operate as a business and we’ve made significant sustainability improvements, from moving to a more modern, fuel-efficient fleet to replacing company cars with fully electric models,” added project manager Alison Gales. “We recently published our 2026 Sustainability Report which details Fenton’s ongoing commitment to responsible business practices, continuous improvement and investment in initiatives that support long-term environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives. The publication reflects the company’s ambition to build on recent sustainability achievements while continuing to deliver innovative packaging solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers and the wider marketplace.”
