METTLER Toledo has announced a new three-part live webinar series that will explore how dairy manufacturers can turn product inspection into a driver of profit, compliance and production confidence.
The series, titled ‘Maximise Dairy Yield: Smart Product Inspection to Cut Giveaway and Boost Profits‘ runs across October and November 2026 and will follow a three-part journey from the production line to the data backbone, beginning with how modern checkweighers can help control fill levels, reduce giveaway and increase sellable yield.
The series will then move on to how manufacturers can achieve and leverage automated data collection methods to gain secure, audit-ready insight for continuous improvement across operations, before concluding with the impact of the new EURAMET Calibration Guideline 26 (CG-26) on industry weighing practices.
Each webinar will be available to register for individually, giving manufacturers the flexibility to attend the sessions most relevant to them. Two sessions will be offered throughout the series to support attendance across different regions.
The series is designed for dairy manufacturers and wider food production businesses. Mettler Toledo said it will be especially relevant for quality assurance professionals, production managers, compliance officers, operations leaders and teams responsible for product inspection, weighing, line performance and audit readiness.
Although the series focuses on dairy production, the principles discussed will also be relevant to manufacturers working across other high-volume food categories, including pet food, snacks and meat processing.
“Giveaway is one of the most direct ways that margin can be lost on a production line, but it is also one of the areas where better data, smarter inspection and reliable equipment performance can make a measurable difference,” said Frank Borrmann, market manager for the strategic business unit checkweighing and vision, Mettler Toledo. “This webinar series is designed to show dairy manufacturers how fully integrated product inspection solutions and calibration strategies work together to support yield optimisation, compliance and long-term process control.”
