FANUC UK has appointed Dan Fisher as the company’s new head of sales, succeeding Oliver Selby who has transitioned to the newly created role of strategic key account manager – aerospace & defence.
The firm said Dan is recognised for his deep knowledge of manufacturing automation and his ability to help organisations unlock greater efficiency, productivity and competitiveness through technology. In his previous role within FANUC UK’s business development division, he worked with customers, system integrator partners and manufacturers across multiple sectors.
Dan said, “I am delighted to be taking on the role of head of sales for FANUC UK. Having worked closely with our customers, partners and colleagues for many years, I’ve seen first-hand how automation is helping manufacturers improve productivity and address skills and labour challenges.
“I’m looking forward to leading the sales team as we continue to support manufacturers with innovative automation solutions, including robotics, CNC systems, machine tools and factory automation technologies, and build on the strong relationships that have been central to our success.”
