CORRUGATED packaging specialist Westbury Packaging has revealed the firm has retained its BRCGS AA grade accreditation following its latest audit.
The BRCGS Global Standard for Packaging Materials provides a framework for manufacturers to demonstrate that products are safe, legally compliant and quality assured. The accreditation is widely recognised by retailers, brand owners, manufacturers and food service organisations.
According to BRCGS, the Packaging Materials standard is now in its seventh issue and regarded as a global benchmark for packaging excellence, with more than 6,200 certificated sites in over 91 countries. The standard sets out the product safety, quality and operational criteria that certificated sites must meet to support legal compliance and consumer protection.
