KINGSMOOR Packaging has maintained its AA grade BRCGS certification for another year.
The thermoforming business explained that, under the revised issue 7 of the BRCGS Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials, an AA grade is one of the highest awards a company can achieve within the certification scheme.
The BRCGS certificate streamlines the supplier approval process and makes it easier for food companies to meet the requirements of the BRCGS Food Standard, while also helping retailers and food manufacturers to adhere to legal obligations.
The standard specifies HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point), good manufacturing practices, plus the hygiene, safety and quality requirements for packaging manufacturers who supply to the food and consumer products industries.
