ABERDEEN-based Packed Up has bolstered its credentials after securing three internationally recognised ISO certifications.
The packaging specialist has achieved ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management Systems, and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety Management.
Supported through the accreditation process by David McCallum, of Northern Ireland-headquartered consultancy Noviqa, Packed Up pursued the three standards as part of its commitment to maintaining consistently high levels of customer service – strengthening its approach to environmental responsibility and embedding robust health and safety practices across its operations.
Packed Up added that the certifications also support its ambition to become Scotland’s most recommended packaging specialist, with the business continuing to focus on responsive customer support alongside sustainable and innovative packaging solutions.
Sean McConochie, Packed Up MD, said, “Achieving all three ISO certifications is an important milestone for Packed Up and a reflection of the standards we want to set as our business continues to grow.
“We have built Packed Up around putting our customers first and providing the responsive, reliable service they need. As we expand, it is important that we continue to strengthen the systems and processes behind that service while maintaining our focus on quality, environmental responsibility and the health and safety of our team.
“We would also like to recognise the work of our Business Improvement Manager, Laura Campbell, who drove the accreditation process internally and played an important role in ensuring we were fully prepared for the assessment and audit process.”
Founded in 2021, Packed Up has grown to employ 12 people and established a strong customer base across north-east Scotland.
The triple certification follows another significant development for the company earlier this year, when founders Sean McConochie and Samantha Wright announced that Packed Up had joined forces with Northern Ireland packaging supplier Hub Packaging.
