Fanta launches multi-million-pound price-marked packs campaign

A multi-million-pound investment has been made to launch £1.89 price-marked packs across the 2L Fanta range.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) said the move will help convenience retailers offer shoppers standout value ahead of the biggest sharing occasions of the summer – helping them drive the rate of sale across the Fanta range.

PMPs communicate value to shoppers and deliver nearly a 48% higher rate of sale than plain pack soft drinks across symbol and independent convenience stores each week, CCEP explained.

Available now while stocks last, the limited-time promotion reduces the Fanta 2L PMP from £2.15 to £1.89 across Fanta Orange and Fanta Fruit Twist, while introducing Fanta Lemon in a 2L PMP for the first time at the same price point. The ‘When It’s Gone, It’s Gone’ packs also feature bold new front-of-pack pricing, helping shoppers quickly spot the value on shelf.

Ruth Fawcett, wholesale & independent convenience associate director at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners GB, said, “Summer is one of the biggest retail moments of the year for soft drinks, and we know shoppers are looking for brands they trust at prices that represent genuine value.

“That’s exactly what this investment is designed to deliver. Fanta is a summer socialising favourite, and we know visible value drives sales in convenience. By reducing our 2L PMP to £1.89 and introducing Fanta Lemon into the range for the first time, we’re giving retailers a compelling reason to stock up and shoppers an equally compelling reason to buy.”
