TNT Group has manufactured the zamak cap for Stendhal Paris’ Essences Précieuses collection.
The exclusive Haute Parfumerie collection celebrates the brand’s 80th anniversary, with TNT meeting the challenge of producing the component as a single-piece whilst adapting the original design as closely as possible to the initial creative intent.
Light plays across the golden petals, creating ever-changing reflections in tribute to the six chapters of the collection, conceived as an olfactory literary work – each built around a signature ingredient.
An alloy of zinc, aluminium, magnesium, and copper, zamak is particularly valued in prestige perfumery for its high density, cool touch and ability to reproduce intricate details with exceptional precision.
Pressure-injected, it enables the creation of ‘complex’ shapes while offering ‘excellent’ mechanical and physicochemical resistance. Infinitely recyclable without any degradation of its properties, it remains a material of choice for premium components, TNT explained.
TNT said, “Gold-toned, commanding and distinctive, the cap stands out as a true goldsmith’s creation. Its floral sculpture, inspired by the fleur-de-lis, Â a symbol of Florence, a city dear to Stendhal, conveys both delicacy and strength, an emblematic signature of the house.”
