RAVENWOOD Packaging has announced it has reinforced the accelerating global adoption of linerless labelling technology at its World Conference 2026.
Held at the Athenaeum and Ravenwood HQ in Bury St Edmunds, the conference brought together machinery distributors, printer partners and industry experts.
A central theme was the rapid global growth of linerless technology. While the UK market remains strong, Ravenwood explained that significant expansion is now being seen across Europe, the Americas and APAC, supported by new distributor partnerships, restructuring initiatives and growing market awareness.
âGlobal growth is picking up strongly in 2026, with increasing adoption across multiple regions,â said director Dave Gooding. âWhat weâre seeing is a shift from early adoption to wider market acceptance.â
The conference featured insights from guest speakers including Siobhan Parks, head of packaging at Hilton, who addressed the impact of evolving packaging regulations and sustainability requirements. Sessions explored developments such as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and the role of linerless labelling in meeting environmental targets.
Distributor partners also shared experiences, highlighting how linerless solutions are delivering benefits such as reduced waste, lower operational costs, and improved efficiency.
Ravenwood used the event to showcase its latest innovations, including the new Nobac 5000W Wrap Labeller, alongside advancements in vision inspection systems and expanded applications across fresh produce, ready meals, and food-to-go sectors.
Live demonstrations provided attendees with hands-on experience of the technology, while case studies were presented to demonstrate the impact of linerless solutions.
Collaboration across the supply chain was another focus, with sessions emphasising the importance of strong partnerships between Ravenwood, distributors and printers to drive continued growth.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony recognising achievements across the network.
