POWER Adhesives has launched the Tec 306-12, the upgraded replacement for the Tec 305 tool.
The firm explained that it is based on the same technology and build quality as its predecessor and now features a removable cable for applications requiring more portability.
Utilising the IEC C7 power cable, the tool can be detached mid-operation – enabling cordless use for a short period of time whilst the heater is still at operating temperature. This allows users the option to work temporarily unconstrained by a power cable and to adapt the applicator to different bonding needs.
Alex Zulewski, commercial director at Power Adhesives, commented, “We’re excited to upgrade our most compact, lightweight 12mm applicator with the added benefit of portability and easier storage. The Tec 306 provides all best features of the Tec 305 that users expect, but with even more flexibility and value.”
Much like the Tec 305, the Tec 306 is described as having a compact footprint and slim-line design for intricate bonding applications, with a warm-up time of under five minutes, so there’s no waiting around for the adhesive to melt.
The product includes an adjustable full-hand trigger to reduce strain during extended use, and interchangeable nozzles to adapt to different bonding needs.
The Tec 306 can be used for a range of applications, including packaging and print, electrical functions like potting and encapsulation, woodworking and wood repair, arts and crafts, floristry, and DIY.
