New bottles tipped to wow Scottish spirits industry

New range of premium spirits bottles from Croxsons

GLASS packaging supplier Croxsons has announced the launch of an exclusive new range of premium spirits bottles, featuring an array of styles designed to cater for a wide variety of spirits including Scotch whisky.

Comprising nine styles ranging from from sleek and contemporary to classically-shaped and vintage-inspired, each bottle is manufactured from ‘extra flint’ crystal glass, which Croxsons said provides ‘exceptional’ clarity and on-shelf impact.

With a minimum order of just one pallet, the range is accessible to both established spirits brands and emerging producers.

“We’re confident that these distinctive, high-quality bottles will appeal to Scotland’s vibrant spirits sector – they’re ideal for all sorts of premium spirits including whisky, gin, vodka, rum, liqueurs and more,” Jim Harrower, sales manager (Scotland and Ireland), at Croxsons, told Packaging Scotland.

One of the bottles in the collection, the 700ml Apollo, now incorporates Croxsons’ Rightweight process, which is designed to ensure the bottles are significantly lighter without compromising strength, function or shelf appeal.

The product’s weight has been reduced from 575g to 400g in an effort help producers meet sustainability goals and reduce EPR costs.

“Not only does the new range look exceptional, combining the style, quality and flexibility that Croxsons is known for, but the Apollo now also delivers significant sustainability benefits without compromising on the aesthetics,” Jim added.

“We’re very proud to bring something fresh, innovative and distinctive to the Scottish market, and are eager to collaborate with both heritage and emerging brands to help them achieve their packaging goals through premium quality products and a creative approach.”
