RANDEX, a specialist in automated storage, and materials‑handling, has formed a new partnership with Sales Geek Scotland, a provider of sales solutions, training, and outsourced sales, as it pursues an ambitious growth plan.
The Livingston-based business, led by MD James Roberts, recorded annual sales of £6 million last year and has doubled in size over the past three years. It is forecasting another strong result this year, with revenues expected to outstrip 2025.
Randex serves a diverse mix of sectors, including logistics, defence, engineering and the life sciences. As part of its next phase of growth, the firm has engaged Sales Geek to deliver a year‑long development programme for its six‑strong sales team, led by sales manager, Derek Muir.
Peter Barclay, director of Sales Geek Scotland, said, “Randex is a business with enormous potential, a strong product range and a clear customer‑focused culture. Our work together is about strengthening the sales process, supporting leadership and ensuring the team has all the tools and confidence needed to help the company achieve its next level of growth.”
The collaboration includes individual sales development sessions, ongoing remote follow‑up to ensure accountability, participation in a leadership cohort group and free access to Sales Geek’s regular sales club events across Scotland.
James Roberts added, “We have doubled the size of the business in the last three years, and with the right support, we believe we can reach £10 million and beyond within a foreseeable timescale. Sales Geek gives our team the structure, focus and development support they need to perform at their best and deliver exceptional value to our clients.”
Randex is also increasing its visibility within the market, attending ten major exhibitions this year, showcasing a demonstration of its Compact Twin vertical lift supported by its transportable demonstration compact lift.
In support of its growth, the company is undertaking a recruitment drive, including the appointment of a new service manager, the recruitment of a Midlands‑based salesperson and the addition of two new service technicians.
