THE Sheet Plant Association (SPA) has appointed Simon Mander of Emmepi Group Avanti to its committee.
He will support the committee with a particular focus on membership and member engagement.
The SPA said Simon brings extensive experience from the corrugated and fibre-based packaging sector, with a strong background in working closely with sheet plants, converters, and wider supply-chain partners.
He will contribute insight into how the SPA can continue to strengthen its member offering, improve engagement, and ensure the association remains ‘relevant, accessible, and commercially valuable’ to companies of all sizes.
Simon Mander said, “I am delighted to be joining the SPA committee and supporting the association’s work around membership and engagement.  The SPA plays a vital role in bringing the corrugated industry together, sharing knowledge, and supporting both converters and suppliers.
“I am looking forward to working with the committee to help strengthen member involvement and ensure the SPA continues to deliver real value to its members.”
